Language Interest Group (LIG)

The Language Interest Group (LIG) of AEGEE-Europe is a group of AEGEE members interested in languages. The LIG stimulates discussions on language-related topics within AEGEE and can initiate, implement and support events, projects, positions and other activities related to languages.

The main objectives of the LIG are to raise awareness of the value of multilingualism, to encourage and assist AEGEE members to improve their language skills and learn additional languages, to promote and preserve Europe's linguistic diversity and to discuss issues related to language policy, language rights, minority languages, language barriers and linguistic diversity.
