Mission statement

AEGEE befähigt Studierende und junge Menschen in Europa, eine aktive Rolle in der Gesellschaft zu übernehmen. Sie schafft einen Raum für Dialog und Lernmöglichkeiten und vertritt sie gegenüber den Entscheidungsträgern. Projects

AEGEE thematic projects, both at local and international level, are initiatives developed by AEGEE members. They address current challenges in European society, raising awareness among young people and proposing solutions from a student perspective.

Working groups

Working Groups at AEGEE are thematic, formal groups that work to implement the organisation's strategic priorities. Each Working Group has a specific goal and mandate that directly contributes to achieving AEGEE's long-term strategic goals. They organise projects, events and campaigns to advance their issues in the AEGEE community and beyond, and work closely with other bodies, such as the Comité Directeur. Working Groups are more formal and focused than Interest Groups and often have specific action plans.

interest groups

In AEGEE, Interest Groups are thematic communities of members focused on specific areas of interest. These groups provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, discussions and joint projects around specific topics. Unlike formal bodies such as committees or working groups, Interest Groups are less structured and open to all members who want to get involved in these areas.
