Purpose of the Agora

Controlling

Every European body (for example CD, SUCT) has to hand in an activity report about the last six months (since the last Agora).

Finance

The treasurer of the Comité Directeur has to submit a financial report about the last six months. The main assembly must vote on this report. 

Legislative Power

 The CIA (for "Corpus Iuridicum AEGEEense") is like a constitution for AEGEE. It contains all important informations and the statutes. If one wants to change the rules by which AEGEE works it is usually necessary to hand in a proposal to change the CIA. The proposals are discussed in committees (Prytania) and then voted upon in the plenary of the Agora. The Agora also discusses and votes upon policies and positions of AEGEE Europe.
